Welcome to PhotoMap

PhotoMap turns a folder of your photos into a satellite map. Every photo with GPS metadata appears as a thumbnail pin where it was taken.

How to use

1. Click Choose folder and pick any folder on your computer.
2. Wait while the app scans. Non-photos and photos without location data are ignored.
3. Zoom in to see individual thumbnails. Click one to open the full photo.
4. Press F for fullscreen, Esc to close the viewer.
5. Use the Show thumbnails toggle to swap between thumbnail pins and simple dots.

Privacy

Nothing is uploaded and no files are modified. Your photos stay on your computer — the app only has read-only access to the folder you pick.
